About me

I’m Smitha, a UX/UI designer based in Düsseldorf, Germany but originally from India.

I come from a diverse background with two years assisting the UX team of an educational app, three years as a CG visual development artist at Technicolor, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology that grounds my design process in empathy and behavior. After completing a dedicated course in UX design, I’ve been focused on creating digital experiences that are thoughtful, clear, and human.

My work blends artistic sensibility with structure. I'm drawn to color theory, typography, and simplifying complex ideas into interfaces that feel intuitive and honest. The leap from animation to UX was natural as both are about storytelling, just through different frames.

Beyond the screen, I’m curious about cultures and cuisines. I’ve worked in a local German café, taught cooking classes, and find joy in connecting with people through food and shared experiences.
